Overview

The annual ISRI Transportation Safety Awards (sponsored by RecycleGuard® Insurance Program) reflect the value and importance that the industry places on vehicle safety, by recognizing the top performers in the field, both at the company and individual levels. The awards are presented annually during ISRI’s Annual Convention and Exposition.

Submission deadline: March 31, 2021

All ISRI members are eligible to apply in each of the following four categories

Best Fleet Award

Best Fleet Awards

Presented to the ISRI member with both the lowest vehicle accident rate and the lowest DOT severity rate for the calendar year in each of four classes, determined by size. First, second and third place trophies are awarded in each class.

Pacesetter Award

Pacesetter Awards

Granted to the ISRI member with the best 36-month accident record in each of four classes, determined by size. Winners (First Place only) are awarded trophies in each class.

ISRI-Driver-of-the-Year-Award-2

Driver of the Year Award

Awarded to the commercial vehicle driver with the best 20-year driving record, with the minimum qualification being no at-fault accidents during the driver’s entire career. First, second, and third place trophies are awarded to the finalist. The winner receives $500, a trophy and leather jacket, and a trip to ISRI’s Annual Convention and Exposition.

Award - Golden Wrench

ISRI Golden Wrench Award

Given to the best heavy vehicle maintenance technician or manager who exhibits outstanding efforts, achievements, and contributions to ensure that commercial vehicles are safe on the road. First, second, and third place trophies are awarded to the finalist. The winner receives a trophy and a trip to ISRI’s Annual Convention and Exposition.
