Digital Publications Manager

This deadline-oriented position is responsible for the day-to-day production and publication of ISRI’s Scrap News website and other electronic publications.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)                                  

  • Working with reporters, editors and subject-matter experts, produce and publish digital news media content, including written articles, videos, digital graphics and other content associated with ISRI’s Scrap News and other publications.
  • Assists with production, publication and distribution of e-newsletters and advocacy alerts written by subject-matter experts from across the association staff and membership.
  • Manage daily operations of digital publications, updates, uploads, corrections and archiving.
  • Coordinates and manages placement and tracking of advertisements on the ISRI’s Scrap News website, e-newsletters and associated digital assets.
  • Coordinates with multiple teams to guarantee workflow, documentation, deadlines and design standards are met, often managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Serve as copyedit support for various ISRI digital and print publications.
  • Provide project management, editing, web layout and administrative support for ISRI’s Scrap News site and other association publications.

    Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success publishing and managing in real time digital websites, blogs, articles, and other news-oriented content.
  • Demonstrated success and technical proficiency in website publishing, content management, graphic design and online advertising inventory management.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and turn around high-quality news and information via online or other digital means.

    Preferred Education/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital journalism, content and design, or other relevant fields.
  • Excels in fast-paced, high productivity environment, and is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of trade writing and AP Style.
  • Equivalent work experience in lieu of education is acceptable.
  • Proficient with web publishing software, including WordPress, SiteFinity, Adobe Creative Suite + or similar online publishing platforms.


Digital Content Producer

This highly creative position is responsible for the production and implementation of digital content and programming for the purposes of communicating news, advocacy, storytelling, education and training and/or marketing efforts on behalf of ISRI and its members.  Content will be used across all digital platforms, including websites, social media, e-newsletters, apps, podcasts, learning management systems and other communication channels.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)                                  

  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact and producer of digital media, from concept to final design, including but not limited to videos, podcasts, digital graphics, animated illustrations, online advertising, e-learning and email marketing deliverables.
  • Coordinates with multiple teams to guarantee workflow, documentation, deadlines and design standards are met, often managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborates with various departments and subject-matter experts to develop deliverables from concept to final design, including providing any cost estimates and outside vendor engagement.
  • Helps develop and manage a multimedia content inventory to ensure timely production of digital content is possible on a real-time basis.
  • Assists with live- and virtual-event audio/visual production needs, including the Zoom and GoTo platforms.

    Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success with digital content project management and delivery.
  • Technical proficiency in graphic design and audio/visual editing, using tools such as Adobe InDesign/Illustrator, Pinnacle Studios, Final Cut Pro, Audacity, Blubrry and/or Podbean.
  • Strong ability to deliver compelling storytelling and information via digital visual and audio means.

    Preferred Education/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital journalism, content and design, or other relevant fields.
  • Excels in fast-paced, high productivity environment.
  • Highly motivated and entrepreneurial in spirit.
  • Equivalent work experience in lieu of education is acceptable.
  • Proficient with all MS Office functions (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


Digital Sales and Marketing Manager

This detail and deadline-oriented position is responsible for all external sales execution and deliverables.  This includes coordinating all execution with clients, maintaining inventory and calendar controls, ad and content placement and occasionally digital media creation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)                                  

  • Oversee coordination and execution of all sales benefits: ad placements, sponsored content, exhibit coordination, billing and payments, and other duties as assigned.
  • Oversees the sales of entry-level membership advertising packages and other products as assigned.
  • Manage the placement of all digital advertising across ISRI digital channels.
  • Manage and track the inventory and calendar for all advertising and sponsorship placement.
  • Coordinates with multiple teams to guarantee workflow, documentation, deadlines and design standards are met, often managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Serve as copyedit support for various ISRI digital and print publications.
  • Provide project management, editing, web layout and administrative support for ISRI’s Scrap News site and other association publications.

    Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of web editing and content placement platforms, including WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite + and SiteFinity.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A background in marketing, product merchandising and/or customer service, preferably in an environment that focuses on delivering on trade association member value.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably with a trade association.
  • Preferred Education/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital content production or other relevant fields.
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit with an analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and follow-through skills.

Membership Marketing Manager

This membership marketing focused position is responsible for supporting membership retention and recruitment efforts.  This includes coordinating all execution with the membership, marketing and communications team to develop targeted marketing campaigns aimed at reinforcing the value of ISRI membership to current and potential member companies.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)                                  

  • Oversee coordination and execution of all membership marketing campaigns, including:
    • message development,
    • audience segmentation and list development,
    • campaign implementation and performance measurement, and
    • KPI reporting and other duties as assigned.
  • .Provide project management, copy editing, web layout and administrative support for the marketing and membership services and data teams.

    Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of web editing and content placement platforms, including WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite + and SiteFinity.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, working with internal and external stakeholders.
