Brian is currently vice president and general manager of Rocky Mountain Recycling, Inc., (RMR) located in Commerce City, Colorado. RMR is a full-service scrap metal recycling company specializing in ferrous, nonferrous, and other various types of metals.
His roots originate in a small, former steel mill town, located outside of Pittsburgh, Pa called Duquesne. It was while growing up in Duquesne where Brian began his career in the recycling industry. At the early age of 15, he worked as a summer employee at a local scrap company, called Vac-Air Alloys, of which eventually became part of Keywell, LLC. Throughout high school and college, Brian continued to work at Keywell as a summer employee.
Upon graduation from the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in spring of 1991, Keywell hired Brian to a full-time position as a management trainee. As a trainee, he was fortunate to have traveled and worked in many different cities and afforded the responsibility to assist and conduct numerous projects. Eventually, he was assigned the role of plant operations manager of a facility in Houston, TX in 1995.
In 1998, he accepted a position as a commercial buyer with RMR and moved to Colorado. Since then Brain has been active with all commercial, operational, EH&S and legislative activities associated with the company.
He resides in Denver, Colorado with his English bulldog, Bella Blue.
